Paracas Huacachina from Nazca

Itinerary

We will begin our Paracas Huacachina tour from Nazca with a private transfer from your hotel in Nazca at 5:00 a.m. to take you to Paracas. (3 and a half hour trip).
9:30 a.m. Arrival at our office in Paracas.

10:00 a.m. Tour to the Ballestas Islands. (1 hour and 50 minute tour).

On this tour, we will board our fiberglass speedboat with two outboard motors, which you will share with other tourists.

After our guide gives instructions and everyone puts on their life jackets, we will sail through Paracas Bay for about twenty minutes until we reach the Candelabro, a figure carved into the hillside of the Paracas Peninsula.

Here, the boat will stop for a few minutes, and the guide will explain the different theories and mysteries surrounding this figure, which is similar to the Nazca Lines.

Then we will sail out to sea for about 25 more minutes until we reach the Ballestas Islands, where you will be able to observe a lot of marine fauna, sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and a wide variety of birds, such as boobies, cormorants, guanays, chuitas, cormorants, pelicans, oystercatchers, curlews, Peruvian gulls, and many more.
You can also see rock formations such as arches formed by the erosion of the sea waves and wind.

After ww will return to Paracas.

12:10 hrs. We will board our tourist transportation and depart for the city of Ica (1 hour trip).

In Ica, we will visit the artisanal pisco and wine cellar, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the facilities and our guide will explain the process of making pisco, Peru’s flagship drink.
After learning about the process of making pisco and wine, we will taste the wide variety of pisco, wine, and pisco cream liqueurs that are produced artisanally.
You will also have time to have lunch if you wish, as there are restaurants that prepare typical Creole dishes from the region.

Then we will board our vehicle to go to the Huacachina Oasis.
This oasis is located in the middle of the Ica desert, surrounded by trees and immense dunes.

You will be able to appreciate this impressive landscape, and then at the appointed time we will begin the tour of the dunes by buggy.

At the appointed time, we will begin the desert tour with buggy riding and sandboarding.
We will board a sand buggy to climb the dunes surrounding the Huacachina Oasis, crossing much of the desert while performing tricks on the sand mountains.
At the same time, we will observe the whimsical shapes of the dunes created by the winds.

We will also make stops to take photos and at the highest points to practice the sport known as sandboarding. Our driver and guide will teach us how to do it safely,

then we will make a final stop at the top of a dune surrounding the Huacachina Oasis, where you will have a beautiful view from above the Oasis and can take your best photos.

Then we will return to Huacachina.

6:20 p.m. Transfer from Huacachina to the CRUZ DEL SUR bus station in Ica.

7:00 p.m. Departure of the bus from Ica to Nazca.

9:30 p.m. Arrival time in Nazca. Upon arrival in Nazca, a representative from our agency will be waiting for you with your name on a sign and will then transfer you to your hotel.
