This Puno Lake Titicaca Tour two-day offers an immersive experience into the unique cultures and stunning landscapes of Lake Titicaca, Peru.
The journey begins with a visit to the floating reed islands of the Uros, where you’ll learn about their incredible way of life and ingenious construction techniques.
You’ll then travel to Amantani Island to spend the night with a local family, providing a rare opportunity to experience authentic Andean hospitality and traditions.
The tour concludes on Taquile Island, famous for its intricate textiles and communal lifestyle, before returning to Puno. Throughout the trip, you’ll be surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the world’s highest navigable lake.

7:30 a.m. We will begin the 2-day Puno Lake Titicaca Tour with pickup from your hotel in Puno at 07:30 am to transfer you to the port of Puno.
Next we will board our tourist boat and head toward the marvelous floating islands of the Uros where you’ll learn about the unique lifestyle of the Uros people who live on islands made entirely of totora reeds.
Despite the passage of time, these reed islands, built by the natives, remain intact and are still inhabited today. Their homes and boats are made of the same material.
The positive energy of this island is so powerful that it is known as the “Island of Love.”
We will also enjoy a typical lunch, and then head to the “Pachatata” and “Pachamama” ceremonial centers, sacred Andean temples in the region.
At night, we will stay in family homes, enjoying the hospitality of a typical Amantani home.
After breakfast, we will board our boat to head to Taquile Island.
On this island, we will experience the typical way of life of the inhabitants, their customs, traditions, religious rituals, and folklore.
Taquile is inhabited by native Quechua speakers who have developed an efficient and unique social system in the town of Taquile.
Afterward, you can enjoy a typical lunch of fresh silverside fish.
At the scheduled time, we will return to Puno City. Arriving at the port of Puno at approximately 4:00 pm
